Saint Hilary School is happy to continue its partnership with PAAM, the Performing Arts Academy of Marin. PAAM Arts provides training opportunities in theater and dance as well as fun and creative outlets for young performing artists from ages 3 through high school. Their programs cater to a wide variety of students, so whether you are a beginner looking to get your feet wet, or a seasoned student looking for a comprehensive program, PAAM has a place for you!

PAAM Drama 1 | Kindergarten
Performing a Song from “101 Dalmations”
Dive into the world of musical theater with PAAM! Students will learn a song and dance routine with singing, choreography, and character work culminating with an onstage performance. Rehearsals include vocal technique for range, timing, and dictation, developing physicality and characterization, and apply dance typical to musical theater. No auditions or casting. Costumes are sourced from your child’s home wardrobe.

PAAM Drama 2 | Grades 1 - 4
Performing “101 Dalmations”
Drama 2 is an abridged musical production, complete with roles, lines, songs, choreography and costumes! All participants are placed in a character role with lines, in addition to ensemble songs and choreography. Perfect for kids getting their feet wet in theater as well as more experienced performers looking for leadership opportunities and reinforcement of fundamental theater skills. Casting is determined during the first rehearsal. Costumes provided: base costume items and footwear may be requested from your child’s home wardrobe.
Your 4th grade student can determine if they would like to enroll in Drama 2 or Drama 3 based upon their confidence and theater experience!
